At the beginning of the year, Portland started requiring sellers of single family homes to get a Home Energy Assessment. On a scale of 1-10, the home is rated in terms of its efficiency and what that means in terms of the cost of running your home. The hope is to bring more awareness to how we live….and reduce our energy consumption.
